Once a customer is assigned to a company, it is often necessary to update company details on the fly (e.g., location name or catalog). Without in-app edit capabilities, staff must rely on backend adjustments, creating delays and operational friction.This feature allows staff to edit existing company details directly from POS. The screen displays prefilled data, and staff can make updates (e.g., catalog, address, net terms) which sync in real time.

Creating or associating a company to a customer from POS requires leaving the app or using external tools, which slows down in-store onboarding for B2B customers and increases the chance of data errors.<h3></h3>With this feature we will enable staff to create a new company or associate a customer with an existing company directly within POS using a modal form. The company form supports inputs for company name, location name, address (prefilled from the customer address), catalog settings, net terms, and tax configuration. Once submitted, the company entity is created and linked to the customer seamlessly.

B2B merchants often need to segment and manage orders more efficiently, whether by fulfillment method (e.g., pickup, shipping), sales channel, or internal processing workflows. Without a consistent tagging system, it becomes difficult to track, filter, and automate order handling in Shopify, leading to manual work and potential fulfillment errors.The order tags feature allows merchants to automatically apply customizable tags to every order placed through the Extend POS for B2B &amp; Wholesale. Admins can define global tags for all orders, as well as specific tags for pickup or shipping orders. This enables easier filtering, improved tracking, and streamlined automation in Shopify, ensuring operational efficiency and clear order segmentation without manual tagging.

B2B merchants using POS systems need to offer flexible delivery options at the point of sale to meet diverse business customer needs. Without integrated support for store pickup or shipping within the POS app, staff face manual workarounds, increased errors, and limited ability to provide a seamless in-person ordering experience.This feature enables B2B merchants to offer customers a choice between Store Pickup and Shipping directly within the POS app when creating orders. For Shipping, all available shipping methods configured in Shopify Admin are shown. This flexibility ensures smooth in-store order creation, simplifies staff workflows, and enhances the overall B2B buying experience at the point of sale.

Delivery Options with Store Pickup Support

B2B customers often require purchase order (PO) numbers to be included on invoices and order records for internal tracking and payment processing. Previously, staff using the POS app could not capture a PO number while creating a draft order, forcing them to record this information manually or update it later in Shopify Admin. This created inefficiencies, increased errors, and delayed order processing.This feature allows staff to enter a customer's PO number directly when creating a B2B order in the Extend POS app. This ensures that important procurement details are captured upfront, reduces manual follow-ups, and supports smoother internal processes for B2B buyers.

Ability to Add PO Number in POS Draft Orders

Enable B2B buyers and company teams to save, manage, and collaborate on multiple carts within the same store. Customers can:<ul><li>Save and re-use multiple carts for future checkout</li><li>Manage all saved carts from a central dashboard in their account</li><li>Collaborate with teammates through role-based permissions (view, edit, approve, checkout)</li><li>Ensure each company manages only its own carts securely</li></ul>

Shared Multi Cart Management

Many B2B companies operate across multiple locations and need the flexibility to place orders on behalf of specific branches. Previously, merchants using our Extend POS app could only select a single default company location when creating a B2B order. This limitation restricted operational flexibility, complicated inventory and delivery planning, and led to manual adjustments after order creation.With this feature the app users can choose from a company’s various saved locations directly during B2B order creation in the POS app. Staff can now assign orders to the appropriate location at checkout.

Ability to Select from Multiple Company Locations

Allow customers to download a personalized product catalog in CSV format directly from their account. They can input desired quantities for the items they want to purchase and re-upload the file to instantly add those products to their cart or proceed to direct checkout. This feature streamlines bulk ordering for repeat buyers and B2B customers.

Enhance your product pages with a Variant Table that displays all available product variants in a clear, structured format. This table allows customers to view variant-specific details such as size, color, stock availability, and price — at a glance, and add multiple variants to their cart directly from the product page.
