Add Customer to Company from POS

B2B merchants often need to associate retail POS customers with a company for accurate B2B order processing, billing, and catalog assignment. Currently, Shopify POS lacks native support to add customers to company profiles directly from the POS interface, forcing manual backend work and disrupting in-store workflows.

We will Introduce an "Add Customer to Company" option in the POS customer detail screen. Staff can choose to create a new company, add the customer to an existing company, or edit existing company details. This feature streamlines B2B account management directly at the point of sale, reduces manual admin work, and improves operational efficiency.
